    We received an invitation from Riley Hall at the Harbor History Museum in Gig Harbor to participate in their Waves and Wheels classic car and boat show on June 6th. It is a casual event held the morning of the maritime gig festival parade. If you plan on attending this event, send an e-mail to Riley to let him know that you are coming.  Plan to be in the Museum parking lot by 8:00 AM as they close the adjoining roads for the parade at 8:30.

    Whitefish Woody Weekend XIV, June 26-28

    The Big Sky Chapter of ACBS is pleased to announce Whitefish Woody Weekend XIV, hosted by the Lodge at Whitefish Lake, June 26-28, 2026, in Whitefish, Montana. This is the 14th edition of the show, recognized as one of the premier classic boat shows in the Pacific Northwest. The focus is on having fun using the boats on-the-water and sharing our love of classic boats with the public.  Registration is now closed

    Payette Lakes Chapter McCall Boat Show, July 31 - Aug 2

    The Payette Lakes Chapter (PLC) of the Antique and Classic Boat Society invites you to participate in the 2026 McCall Antique Boat Show, Friday, July 31st through Sunday, August 2, 2026 at Payette Lake in McCall, Idaho. Similar to the last two years, this year’s boat show will also welcome “Flying Boats” (seaplanes) to participate. Registration is limited to 32 boats on-water displays, 25 on-land displays and 5 Flying Boats 
    Lodging: We have partnered with DoneRight Management and Vacation Rentals to support our out-of-town Boat Show participants/guests. DoneRight has plenty of properties available at this time. For all Boat Show participants/guests, DoneRight is offering a 10% discount on all available properties.     La Conner Classic Boat & Car Show

    The 26th La Conner Classic Boat & Car Show is Saturday, August 1, 2026. For more than a quarter of a century, this beloved event has brought together classic car and boat enthusiasts for an unforgettable day of craftsmanship, community, and camaraderie—and this year promises to continue that tradition in style. You are invited to display your boat on its trailer. Apply on your own, they need to update the  website with  the new application.

    Inland Empire Chapter Antique & Classic Boat

    Join us August 15-16th for two days of stunning boats and gorgeous lake views on The Coeur d'Alene Resort's Floating Boardwalk!

    This annual festival is free to the public and is a great opportunity for vintage boat owners to show off their beautifully restored, rebuilt and preserved classics. Although most of the vintage boats on display will be gleaming mahogany, there will be some vintage fiberglass and aluminum models represented as well.

    This family-friendly event is a fabulous opportunity for the public to socialize with other classic boat owners and enjoy sunny summer days at beautiful Lake Coeur d’Alene!

    Inland Empire Chapter Priest Lake Dry Rot Boat Show

    Labor Day weekend, Friday September 4th-7th. Four days of boating, eating and playing all around beautiful Priest Lake. Sun, rain, snow or smoke...the show goes on as planned. There is no limit on the number of boats for the Dry Rot show...we will make it work, and fit you in, and both Ekins & Hill's Resorts have the same attitude. And remember, Priest Lake isn't going anywhere...keep your Labor Day lodging reservations and enjoy the lake before and after the Sunday show. We would love to join you on the water and/or dining at the resorts, especially bringing a sack lunch to head to the Upper Lake.

    Our Boat Show at BurgerMaster in Issaquah, has been canceled. We having difficulty trying to get insurance that they  require, but the facilities are owned by other businesses.  We will continue that pursuit for a show for next year.

    We have had to set a DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION, JUNE 15TH.

    We have to rent the whole facility with the 4 converted classrooms each with two double beds, and 2 former offices with a single double bed. The total cost is $1500 (for two nights) so depending on the number of people who attend, the cost will be as follows: 6 signups:  $250, 5 signups:  $300, 4 signups:  $375, 3 signups:  $500

    Potential activities for Wednesday include:
    • Forestry and Railroad Museum in Mineral
    • Mineral Rock Hike. 5-mile round trip moderate hike on mostly abandoned logging roads with views on top but the feature is a large sandstone ridge that is unlike any of the local geology, quite an anomaly in our world of granite and basalts.
    • Recycled Spirits of Iron Sculpture Park is about 15 minutes away between Elbe and Ashford.
    Thursday we will cruise nearby Mayfield Lake.

    The Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival is the largest wooden boat show in North America.

    GREG WALKER BEFORE JUNE 5th, he is workig with the Festival Director reserving rooms forus in one of the original barracks at FORT WORDEN. 

    Lodging details: dorm rooms are available in 2 or 3 night packages, Thur, Fri, Sat or Fri & Sat. They are basic, individual locking rooms; shared bathroom down the hall, shared  kitchen and living room. About $100/ night, everyone in the dorm is there for the festival!     Featuring hundreds of wooden vessels, dozens of indoor and outdoor presentations and demonstrations, a who’s who of wooden boat experts, and thousands of wooden boat enthusiasts—there’s something to do, someone to meet, or a boat to board at every turn. Expanded a little each year, the Festival honors its traditions while inviting energetic debate and demonstration about the latest innovations in boat building, equipment, skills, and adventure.

    Our board member Greg Walker displayed his boat on its trailer there last summer on "Runabout Row", and enjoyed the show tremendously. He is working with the Festival Director who is very interested in expanding that area, hoping our boats become a regular feature.

    ABOUT STEHEKIN...

    If you haven’t yet been to Stehekin, it’s a treat! Lots of hiking trails. Rent a quad or bicycles and run up to the Pacific Crest Trail and Rainbow Falls. Visit the apple orchard and pick fresh apples to take home. Check out the salmon spawning. Take in the glorious fall color. Visit Carl at his organic farm for fresh dahlias, vegetables, and goat cheese.

    And, of course, it wouldn’t be a complete Stehekin experience without a visit to The Stehekin Bakery. Their pecan sticky buns are a MUST! However, their sandwiches, soups, and all the other baked goods are delicious.

    NEW THIS YEAR -- PRIVATE ACBS Buffet Dinner and M&M Awards Presentation Saturday, October 3rd at the 12 Tribes Mill Bay Casino in Manson. Enjoy a full buffet featuring a Prime Rib carving station and Shrimp Stuffed Salmon plus generous side dishes, desserts, and non-alcoholic beverages - only $40 per person including tax and tip. The entire restaurant area will be ours for the evening.

    ABOUT M&M

    Boat show entry is still only $70 per boat and includes: complimentary truck and trailer parking at the 12 Tribes Mill Bay Casino in Manson, complimentary Friday evening reception @ Campbell’s Resort for boat show registered Skippers and First Mates, boat show placard, goodie bag, a one-day boat show with voting for Skipper’s Choice, People’s Choice, and Kid’s Choice awards, the Saturday Boat Parade, and Sunday afternoon Poker Run.

    In addition to Saturday’s boat show, all are invited to join us for the M&M pre-event (September 29th - October 2nd) excursion up the lake to Stehekin.  

    Launching will be available at the Mill Bay public launch in Manson - anytime - OR at the Lakeshore Marina at Don Morse Park on Friday, October 2nd from 9am to 4pm, Saturday the 3rd before 9am ONLY, and on Sunday the 4th before 9am or after 2pm.

    Please note that as guests of the Hydroplane & Raceboat Museum, and for the safety of all boat owners and drivers, we must be flexible and collaborate on entering and exiting the Lakeshore Marina. Once again, boat show boats will be able to leave the Lakeshore Marina for runs on Lake Chelan or emergency exits during Mahogany & Merlot WITH PRIOR APPROVAL FROM PATRICK GLEASON (cell # will be on the back of boat show participant name badges). This also goes for emergency loading.
