Although Seattle Yacht Club has cancelled their 2021 Opening Day festivities due to the ongoing pandemic, Steve Snider is organizing a MeetUP! on May 1st at 11:00 AM at the south end of Lake Union.

At this time we have about 9 boats, some of which are a maybe.

Please let me know if you are going to try and make it for our Opening Day this year.

The plan is to meet on the water at the South end of Lake Union close to The Center for Wooden Boats around 11:00 am.  

At 12:00 the "Linear Cruise" organized by a Queen City Yacht club member will begin.  We will  fall in line with them around noon.  The Classic Yacht Association will also be out on the water.  QCYC estimates about 100 boats will be circling Lake Union!

The Linear Cruise VHF channel is 9 and the lead boat is "Lovedrive". Hope to see you out there on Saturday May 1st.  Let me know if you have any questions.
