The Stehekin Odyssey begins promptly at 9AM from Chester Morse City Park/Marina in Chelan, WA. The early departure assures the most reliable calm water for the two-hour, 55 mile boat ride up Lake Chelan to Stehekin National Park.
Members take hikes, walk 2 miles up the road to The Bakery for amazing food for breakfast or lunch. Rent bikes & ATV's to explore the area, visit the 100 year old orchard, the old schoolhouse, visit the falls, go for boat rides, relax and even nap!
There are usually two groups, leaving Tuesday & Wednesday mornings at 9AM when calm water is the norm. Or come up anytime on your own, with a buddy boat, but the lake can get rough. There is no cell service. Ferry service is also available. The park has great accommodations. Call Charlene 509 449-5224 to make your reservations, and mention our ACBS boat group. Reserve ASAP as the lodging is usually full by July. We return to Chelan Friday morning at 9AM.
